Howdy!

So its been a while since I posted anything.  My son recently attended the Teens with Autism Support Group in Coeur d'Alene.  While he was participating, I met with a few other parents and a Board Member from PAS.  We discussed different things that we would like to see PAS do and things that we would like PAS to continue to do.

Among those suggestions was to open a sub-chapter in Sandpoint.  I like this idea!  We are currently driving to Coeur d'Alene to participate in the programs that PAS is offering.  We, as parents would really like to see a website that would include information and contact information for the different services and supports that we have here in North Idaho.  I'm totally cool with starting a webpage listing this stuff, so if you can think of a contact that is important to individuals or families that deal with disabilities in North Idaho, let me know.

If you haven't heard, Laughing Dog Brewery is currently sponsoring a team that will participate in RAAM (http://www.raceacrossamerica.org) to raise money and awareness for Autism Spectrum Disorders.  This is EXCITING!  If you see any of these wonderful people racing around on their bikes and wearing their signature uniforms (you can't miss the puzzle pieces!) or if you see any of their support vehicles (again with the puzzle pieces!) , please give them some room and tell them THANK YOU for their support!!

I currently PLAN on trying to post at least once a week, if not more often.  If however, I seem to be slacking, just shoot me an email :)
